They say that writers write what they know. That always seemed boring to me because I always read for escapism, but as I have gotten older I realize that the beauty of writing is being able to put your experiences into words in a way that people can relate too, which is why I am thrilled that my online column, Under the Hill, has been picked up by CaribPress.
